Muscoot Meet Report
The heat relented and it turned out to be pleasant in the woods. 54 starts, about 75 people with many of them first timers, as some of the resulting times showed.
First time on each course was about correct, except Yellow which was harder than it appeared causing many to try the direct line off trail with dire results.
For the second year in a row some of the plastic water jugs put out Friday did not survive the “creatures of the night”, luckily there were other water controls on the course.
Thanks to Craig and Paul for help with setting out controls in the heat, to Bob, Ching-Hua and Craig for help with registration and to Ksenyia, Bob, Craig and Paul for picking up controls.
A special thank you to Farm Manager Brenda and other farm staff for help before the event and on the day.
If anyone left a set of keys at Muscoot today please email me at ghckat at Yahoo.com and I will return them to you.
